Program Overview
A Diploma in Tourism Management enables graduates to apply and review management principles and technical skills relevant to the industry to create and develop professionals who are able to undertake various managerial functions in tourism operations and prepare balanced graduates with theoretical awareness and practical experience to raise the quality of the tourism industry.
This program imparts global tourism and hospitality practices while providing a good understanding of recent trends and the ethical issues that exist in this dynamic and fast-paced industry. Graduates will be inculcated with leadership skills, managerial ability, and the professionalism necessary for entry-level management positions. A combination of theoretical and practical training also prepares graduates for long-term success and career progression within the industry.
Entry Requirement
NORMAL ENTRY
- Pass SPM with at least three (3) credits in any subject; OR
- Other qualifications are recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian Government.
APEL.A ENTRY
- Possess an APEL A certification from MQA for admission into Diploma programmes OR
- Malaysian; AND
- 20 years old and above in the year of application; AND
- Possess relevant previous working experience/ learning
