Program Overview
Diploma in Music realizing the impact and the potential music has on human society, we introduce our newly approved programme which is Diploma in Music. Through this programme, students will attain the chance to explore various genres, the areas of contemporary music theory, composition and performance.
Entry Requirement
NORMAL ENTRY
- Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of three (3) credits in any subject; OR
- Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum Grade B in any subject; OR
- Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul; OR
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject; OR
- Pass Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (Level 3) and possesses SPM or its equivalent with a minimum of credit in 1 subject; OR
- A certificate (Level 3, MQF) or it is equivalent in a related field; OR
- Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government;
*The candidate is also required to attend the audition session for the purpose of planning student instrumentation distribution.
APEL.A ENTRY
- Possess an APEL A certification from MQA for admission into Diploma programmes; OR
- Malaysian; AND
- 20 years old and above in the year of application; AND
- Possess relevant previous working experience/ learning
