Program Overview
Bachelor of Information Technology with Honours (E-Commerce) is the programmed provides exposure and skills on web-based system development as well as the knowledge on electronic commerce, covering both the business and technical topics. Students will be exposed to e-commerce operation through presentation tier, business tier, and database access. This degree program will emphasize instruction in computer literacy, e-commerce web development, programming, and internet marketing. This career program follows the current environment of e-commerce technologies.
Entry Requirement
NORMAL ENTRY
- Pass in Matriculation of Foundation studies with a minimum Cumulative Grade point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 and a credit in Mathematics at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of credit in three subjects; OR
- A pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or it is equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject; OR
- A Diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or Information System or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
- Any other Diploma in Science and Technology or Business Studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process, and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
APEL.A ENTRY
- Possess an APEL A certification from MQA for admission into Diploma programmes; OR
- Malaysian; AND
- 21 years old and above in the year of application; AND
- Possess relevant previous working experience/ learning
