GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS

NBUC Matriculation / Foundation Minimum Qualification

Have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM)/Equivalent with honors in Malay/Malaysian Language or honors Malay/Malaysian Language July Paper and pass in History (SPM 2013 and above);

And

Pass Matriculation / Business Foundation / Computer Foundation NBUC with at least CGPA 2.00;

And Get at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

STPM Minimum Qualification

Have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM)/Equivalent with honors in Malay/Malaysian Language or honors Malay/Malaysian Language July Paper and pass in History (SPM 2013 and above);

And

Passed the Malaysian Higher School Certificate Examination (STPM) with a GPA of at least 2.00 and at least:

• Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in General Studies subjects;
  And
• Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in two (2) other subjects;
  And

Obtained at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test.

Minimum Qualification Diploma

Have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM)/Equivalent with honors in Malay/Malaysian Language or honors Malay/Malaysian Language July Paper and pass in History (SPM 2013 and above);

And

Have a Diploma or other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian Government and approved by the University Senate;

Or

Passed the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) examination with at least CGPA 2.00 and Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in three (3) subjects including General Studies.

Or

Pass the Matriculation/Foundation examination with at least a CGPA of 2.00;

And

Get at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

STAM Minimum Qualification

Have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM)/Equivalent with honors in Malay/Malaysian Language or honors Malay/Malaysian Language July Paper and pass in History (SPM 2013 and above);

And

Obtained at least Jayyid Rank in the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate Examination (STAM)

And

Get at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

Minimum A Level qualification

Have a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM)/Equivalent with honors in Malay/Malaysian Language or honors Malay/Malaysian Language July Paper and pass in History (SPM 2013 and above);

And

A GCE A Level graduate recognized by the Malaysian government and approved by the university senate

And

Obtained at least level 2 (Band 2) in the MUET test/Band 5.5 in the IELTS test/score 500 in the TOEFL PBT test/score 59 in the TOEFL IBT test.
