Program Overview

A Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology relates to the inspection, repair, modification, replacement, and overhaul of aircraft equipment to ensure that an aircraft is in optimal condition and most importantly, safe for flying. Students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to inspect aircraft components and systems, diagnose aircraft-related problems and rectify these issues accordingly. They will also gain an understanding of the legal requirements relating to the operation of commercial aircraft.

Entry Requirement

NORMAL ENTRY

  • Possesses Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of credit in three subjects; OR
  • Pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject; OR
  • Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul; OR
  • Pass UEC (Unified Examination Certificate) with a minimum of Grade B in any subject; OR
  • Pass Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 and possesses SPM or its equivalent with a minimum of credit in one subject; OR
  • A certificate (Level 3, MQF) or it is equivalent in a related field; OR
  • Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government;

APEL.A ENTRY

  • Possess an APEL A certification from MQA for admission into Diploma programmes; OR
  • Malaysian; AND
  • 20 years old and above in the year of application; AND
  • Possess relevant previous working experience/ learning
